We'd need to be one of the top 24 teams to be a 2nd seed (or top 12 teams to be a 1st seed). At present it looks like there are nine sides in the group stage with a better coefficient than us and 11 sides in the various rounds of qualifying with a better coefficient than us. But to that you still need to consider the remaining group stage entrants, qualifying entrants, and CL qualifying knock-outs - some of whom will also have better coefficients than us. But how many, I don't know.

I'm glad in a way that Rooneys won one as well. Quite mad that he's never won it before. Think United deserved it too, Palace were poor n reckon they will struggle next year
Likely to be 3rd then? Should give us a shot. I'm just so happy that we've got proper European football to look forward to
F**k me .........................there's a giant elbow with a human being attached going up the stairs !!!
Glad too for Rooney as he has never won it. He's never won a European Championship with England either....
Just wikid it (geeky I know) Our coefficient is solid pot 3 for 4 out of the last 5 seasons, except 2013-14 when we would be pot 2. What the hell, let's go even further back! That's the only season we wouldn't be pot 3 since 2009 when they changed the system.
On the one hand, yay! On the other hand, hmmm. If only there was a way for Palace to win and still get the European result? Ah well.
Indeed. If it had made no difference to our qualification status I would have wanted Palace to have won that, all day.. Down side is that WHU enter the qualification stage of the Europa. Almost taints the competition for me.
