That flattered us. We were a bottom half of the table team, all of that season and even coming into the last game we were about 14th. Every single result went for us on the last day and we sneaked into 10th position. We only got about 44 points that season. 5 more than the one we have just finished...

So is the present team better than that one?

It's hard to judge. At the moment, I would have to say no. This team is just coming together though and has the potential to be a lot better if SA has another great transfer window, like the one he had in January. If this team continues to play and improve the way it has been over the last 6 months, then I think this will be our best team since the team Peter Reid put together.

That means getting above 10th to beat Bruces team. And then even higher to get near Reidys team

Thats a big call.

Not necessarily... Remember we got just over 40 points that season and just about any other season that would have meant a bottom half finish. If we were to get more points than Bruces team but finish just in the bottom half, then I'd regard that as a better season..

I get what you are saying.

Would Brucie set up in a 4-6-0 formation against us? He has a tremendous record against us but never ever tried to beat he's beloved scumbags when he managed us the tw*t

Maybe. What if Hull come up.
I have spoken. Sheff Wed will get promoted.
I'd much rather see Sheff Wed promoted, proper big old stadium, probably easier to get too than Hull.Better set of fans.
Bruce seems to do well against us and if you look at the last three months results Wednesday are the form team, I don't want the BFG back in the premiership.

I echo your sentiments. But do cringe a bit at the term 'proper old club'
