I know I'd be worried, I think he will get the money he wants though or close enough anyway. It sounds like they have a good relationship from what I've heard.
For the first time in quite a while, I wouldn't be too worried if we didn't spend too big. Sam brought in the 3 K's for diddleysquat which hopefully suggests he's got a lot of contacts out there across the channel with an eye for a bargain. Those 3 loads helped gel the team together. I can see the headlines now if we don't spend big though, so I'd expect to see at least 1 marque signing. I just hope he doesn't go for Carroll though.
Totally agree. For the first time in a long time we've actually got a bit of chemistry going on with a strong core to the team which has developed from having the same starting line up. Although we will need to make additions it's more about refining what's already there than the usual rebuild from scratch. And yeah please no Carroll.
Looking back at your earlier posts on this thread, I guess this is what you were meaning by progress. I get ya now
Aye and I know what you mean about a lack of progress as it's the league position that matters. We have improved the side a lot since the days of Caldwell and Whitehead but as Relic said before so has everyone else.
