To be fair most of your transfer targets are ones klopp probably had on his radar rather than superstars. Other than gotze no one has heard of anyone else!

But haven't Leicester just shown us, you don't need superstars, just need to buy the right players.
Buy the players that fit our style would be a huge step in the right direction for us, 5 years we bought the wrong players and spent a **** ton of money doing so.
Seriously how many players at the club bought in the last 5-6 years would you actually want to keep, less than half? Not to mention all the ones got rid of.

Agreed. I never said they were bad. More pointing out you didnt need the cl to attract these players klopp has been targetting (presumably its him and not the committee ) so that sky would not be so sad
One thing we definitely need in future players is strong mentality.
That doesn't mean players who work hard or are professional - I mean players who don't shirk from responsibility, comfortable playing on the big stage, performing week in week out.
That was the major difference last night - Sevilla played like a team that knew the job at hand and how to execute it.

That's true. But I do think a couple of targets will now go elsewhere due to us not being in Europe. Gotze being the first name that springs to mind.
The Zielinski's of the world it probably won't effect. I just hope Klopp can get them pumped for a decent push next season.

Yeah I agree. But a couple of established players is vital. We can't JUST rely on Klopp finding gems.

Just because Leicester won it from nowhere doesn't mean it's suddenly going to happen every season. Normality will be restored next year.
