Not yet, just a matter of time. There's a tendency for Remainians to believe the EU will stay exactly as it is now, and refuse to look ahead.

Project Fear - Vote Remain and get Albania, Turkey, Algeria, Burkina Faso, Indonesia, Oz, Lilliput, Brobdingnagia and Narnia with the right to live in the UK!

Not my words, probably Boris in a couple of weeks time.

Can't see why you want to muzzle free speech - especially when it's yourself you're muzzling!

If you didn't take Brexit arguments so personally, your blood pressure would go down

Not muzzling free speech, simply can't be bothered when it's clear so many people are arguing for the sake of it.

I'll keep my opinions on the referendum to myself from now on - it's far too important to get bogged down rebutting facile statements on here.

I expect it to go from strength to strength once the UK, with its dithering old woman approach to everything, goes it's own way. First we will tackle the East seeing off that pesky Putin. Then we need to find somewhere for all these refugees to live, so we will buy the now poverty stricken UK and offer it to the huddled and dispossessed masses of the world. And the Turks. Especially the Turks.

I say we because I am in the heart of the beast now, Frankfurt. Loads of financiers, bankers, barrow boy traders out on the streets flexing their muscles in preparation for all the extra work coming their way once the fabled City of London discovers that it's anti competitive protection racket only works when it's in the EU with a government fighting for it. And at last the London property issue will be solved.

Just as realistic as any of the **** being peddled by either side of the campaign.

The two TVs in the lobby of the place I am working are showing the same thing - one is on a German news channel the other CNN (which is mostly fiction) - the Queen's Speech. I've asked a few people why it's shown and they say 'because it is quaint and traditional, we like that kind of stuff'. Interesting.

As Stan points out, most of the facile statements are coming from the politicians. You're going to have a rough month

that's my point, they are running the drugs scene in Manchester and are filling up the jails wholesale. Wait to they're officially in with Turkey, Macedonia and other failed states

Well, I hope you're enjoying Frankfurt. This, apparently, is where Goldman Sachs and other finance-corporate directors will live after Brexit. London with its history, culture, worldwide (not just European wide) influences and sheer ebullience of life will of course have no interest to them. If they get bored with Frankfurt, they can try Luxembourg nearby. I worked their for three months and put on a bundle of weight because there's **** all to do their but eat... and you know the size of Germanic food portions...

If the UK leaves the EU, it will not leave Europe. It has responsibilities but it will discharge those in its own way and not by being ordered to.

If the UK doesn't leave the EU, then there's a herd of elephants in the room, because in the next 10 years, 26 of the 28 nations will be voting as one "Euro block" giving the UK and Denmark no say in the running of the club - add to that accession of Turkey, Albania and the others and you can see why Farage says there will be another referendum. Cameron and Osbourne are not fooling anyone by denying it

Not much new to add is there?

I think Farage was saying that there would have to be another referendum very soon if Remain wins but not by an overwhelming margin.

For me the worst possible result is a very narrow Leave win. If Remain wins the issue won't go away and doubtless we'll have to swim through this river of **** again some day. If Leave wins well, fair enough. If Leave wins narrowly it'll be because some twats didn't bother to vote and there won't be a second chance.

    So, THIS!!

UK workers will lose their rights as mentioned in an earlier post by our Welsh contributor? That's BS bandied around by the remain campaign. Your rights are exactly that, YOUR rights. It makes no difference if we stay or leave. My contract is between myself and my employers. NO external influence at all.

Yes, a narrow win either way is undesirable. If, as the bookies seem to suggest, 2/3rds of the country vote to stay in, then personally I'd be much more accepting of the position for now.

Let it not be said that I'm a bad loser...unless the margin's close, and then I'll want to look at how much taxpayer's money Cameron has spent on Remain in order that his legacy is not tarnished - and how many government contracts he has promised to big business if they will support his campaign.
