Does anyone know where I can pick up 3 or 4 old car tyres for nowt? They don't have to be roadworthy or be in good condition as I want to use a few in me garden as planters.
 
Won't it just look like a tyre with plants growing out of it?

I'm interested because the ****s we bought this house off left one in the garden. It's hidden down the back of the fence at the mo...

On a serious note don't plant vegetables or anything you plan eating in old car tyres! Full of chemicals that the veg absorbs!

I'm not sure how it'll look but I'll give it a whirl. I'll let you know the results. **** sake just realised how "big vern" this thread is.

Oddly enough when an old tyre is complete it is a dangerous thing, but when shredded the rubber bits can be used in 3G pitches.
