Geordie meltdown thread

I kid you not - Facebook this morning there's a video of the Mags last game and the post match shenanigans. One of my friends says "Rafa wants to stay but it's not about the money, he wants youth development etc. etc" Of course it's not about the money!! Delusion is rife!

 

This is actually a lot to do with the reception he's received as well - at his last few jobs (Real Madrid, Chelsea, Inter Milan), he's got a tonne of money, but had an extremely hostile reception from the fans. He can get money anywhere, appreciation from the fans is the key thing making him want to stay.

 

I'll happily buy you a beer anytime marra..

 

Who knows what he wants (outside of the Newcastle boardroom) although to say money isn't a factor in any job would be crazy.

He feels the love, which is a big thing, however if he doesn't feel the ambition is there, he definitely won't stay. For what it is worth, I can't see him staying. We have incompetent morons running our club and he deserves far better than us!

Did you go to the game in 'your' full Sunderland kit, or, will you be doing that next season?

 

As there is a re trial, I am yet to don the kit! It would be remiss of me to be so hasty .

 

It's ambition he's looking for, mate. I do think though, that Mike Ashley will at least promise him what it takes to keep him and you'll have him managing you next season. If appreciation from the fans was 'key', he would have already signed a new contract.

Retrial is the wrong word. He has appealed his sentence. I think he will get off Scot free however I don't want to derail this thread for that ****.

 

Are we talking Johnson here? He admitted two of the charges so it's impossible for him to get off scot free. He might get a slight reduction in his sentence, that's all.

Yeah, that as well. He's bottled it though, we'll have to come up with a forfeit challenge.

 

if it were me i would rather wear the strip, can imagine the forfeit being even worse

Am I going senile? Since the Mags went, like RAW I've had "Downtown" going through my head, and I was convinced the last time Welder had done a version on YouTube which ended with "Doncaster's waiting for you". Can't find it anywhere though!
