If the current pattern holds, we're nailed on for a title win in 2020-21.

And we never had Ryan at the beginning of the season and Fraser until feb. Wonder where we wouldve finished if we had?

Really satisfying season. The last two years it seemed like we faded out a bit toward the end.

Not that I'm criticizing the team, scheduling quirks and injuries and lack of squad depth played a role. But it's more fun to come back from problems and finish strong when it seemed like Europe was nearly out of reach than to be in the top 4-5 most of the season and then hang on for 7th.

Been a bloody marvellous season....and who thought we would be saying that in the dark days of winter.
As Andy Gray said on Bein Sports after the game - had we not had that terrible patch in December we would now be playing Champions League football next season. Just to add he was not criticising - but using it to support his statement that he thought we had a great season.

So many ways we could have finished deep top four, including having those two, plus winning a few in that bad run. Phenomenal season, and if it wasn't for Europa next season, all things point to being hopeful of a top four finish. Players would be fools to leave for footballing reasons, I reckon.

We finished the season way out on top of the form table too. Spuds bottom half of that baby.
