Eric is blatantly someone along these lines -

Eric - when you insert the image url make sure it is from the full size image and not just the google image link. Click full size image on the google image page and copy that url link in <ok>

Try that
 
So... I feel like an idiot asking this, but if someone gave me rep but it's gray, that means they're level 0, right? Plus, if you leave your name, I'll make it a point to get you back eventually (if I ever get out of jail...)

If it's grey then the person who gave it you has no rep power so you get no points. The rep power is how many points you can give to someone if you pos rep them and vice versa if you give neg rep.
