Remains to be seen, but if De Boer does take over, then I think that it was done before Martinez got the boot.

Ajax blew the chance to win the title back from PSV on the final day of the season, for anyone who didn't see the reports.
They had to win at already relegated De Graafschap and could only manage a 1-1 draw.
PSV won at Zwolle 3-1 to retain the championship.
 
Might be that Rafa will try to spur them to go out with a bang instead of a whimper so I know I said three certain points but Spurs must finish second have to be wary. Norwich went out with a bang didn't they?

Well Middlesborough replace Newcastle and who remembers the 3-0 drubbing Spurs took under Terry Neill?
Also Terry Venables went up there for some reason. Spurs will have to be careful against them.

I expect most of the Newcastle players to play out of their skins in the hope that a Prem team snaps them up. Expect a difficult Sunday afternoon.

I will be livid. There will be certain colleagues that I won't be able to look in the eye ever again if this happens. I'd probably end up changing jobs.

You think you have problems the chavs have to replace their club captain
They have to seek ,:

1. A player found guilty by the FA of racist abuse

2. A captain who has seduced a teammates wife

3. A captain who states to the press it does not matter who the manager is him and Frank make the football decisions at the club

4. An internationally captain who states he was born to tell. the manager what he needs to hear

Bizarre offside decision in the sheff wed v Brighton play off match. The Linesman didnot give offside for approx 30 seconds...wtf was he waiting for?
