    If we win on Wednesday we are safe...end of, we will be out of reach of both Norwich and Newcastle, we will have 38, Norwich and Newcastle can only get to 37!

    I honestly can't remember feeling this good about a home win against anyone but the mags.

    Funny how they all said "the mackems will never beat Chelsea" and "villa will be easy" looks like that's maybe not as true as they thought.

    Had a blazing row with the Mrs. Then put on sprog duty with 15 mins to go, knowing we're losing 2:1.

    I get out of the doghouse in time for supper and the mags match is on the telly showing extra time. but as i look at the away fans, the faces are distraught..... did we get an equalizer, did we win??

    cue highlights of the other games, and ours last. **** me, eh. what a result, especially such an unexpected result. atmosphere was cracking by all accounts.

    lets win on wednesday please and put this ****ing thing to bed, eh

    It's quite realistic to think we could even stay up if we lost both our games next week! The mags would still have to beat spurs to go above us and norwich would have to win both their games...

    Unbelievable thats Sunderland, all three forwards scored today in a vital win against the odds, Defoes interview a masterclass in steely determination, see the job done on Wednesday, and give us cause for the greatest celebration in the SOLs history, its in our hands to do it, I believe we will Haway the lads. <cheers>
