Actually, something further. I openly said I didn't want Sam, and for that I'm openly accepting I'm a ****ing moron. I know we ain't there yet, but I'm excited for next season.
I didn't want him either, but tbf the football has been nowhere near as bad as I expected. At the very least (if we stay up), I think Sam will have us comfortably midtable next season. We can assess from there, if we need to do "do a West Ham" to move on then so be it
Aye. No grandeur here mate if he can stabilise us top 12 for now well I'll be happy enough for now! If he can do another window like January we are set. Kone and Kirchoff have been utterly immense for the price of Shelveys **** ugly forehead.
Sams the man as far as im concerned. Looking forward to hopefully seeing what he can do with us next year, whatever division we're in
Just rewatched highlights of the match, and realised PVA was over a yard offside for our second haven't heard any ****er pick up on that, wonder if the MOTD lads will catch it...
Avoided the games today through nerves and after going through the reports and videos I'm nearly in tears. So proud of Sunderland as a collective today! Let's finish the job against Everton and go forward
Mind you don't slit something bill. I believe there is something called Veet on the market for man to achieve this and is highly recommended.
The so-called West Ham way is a myth born in the '60s and lasted about five or six seasons when they had Moore, Hurst and Peters guided by Ron Greenwood. Admittedly they played pretty football but got left behind. They are currently enjoying the benefits of Sam's foundations and feel that their new fellow is driving it.
Sam built a great platform there, no question, but I do think Bilic is next level. He went to Besiktas when they were fading and **** me they are some side now, a side to watch in the CL next season. They've a winger Kerim Frei we should try and buy, he'll be a £20million player in 2 year.
When Borini scored I said to my wife (who detests football) that at least the lads haven't done a No Show as we have done so often in the past, I would have taken any result including us getting beat because we had showed a lot of balls against a full strength Chelsea. I'd no sooner spoken those words when Defoe struck and set us up for the longest 20 minutes of my life. We have been shafted so many times in recent history when the lads just didn't show up but not anymore, Sam seems to have got them into a mental state which will not allow them to give up easily, our previous recent managers have failed to do. Onwards and upwards to Wednesday night and we can finish the job and send our pals from NE 1 to the fizzy pop league, howay the lads.
I was thinking earlier, if we do survive, we're basically in Leicester's boots a year later... Khazri is our Mahrez - come from French football, and has had a bit of time to adjust to the Prem. Also has a funny name. Watmore is our Vardy - come from non-league and has had a season to get used to the Prem. Big Sam is our Ranieri - unfancied manager who's not really won anything of note, coming towards the end of his career. It's written in the stars lads, get ya houses on it
We need two points from two games to guarantee survival. If we do that, doesent matter what the mag ****s do.
