This symbolises everything that is odious, hypocritical and downright ****ish about modern society. The spineless, cowardly knobjockies who made the decision to deny Boaty McBoatface it's democratically determined name should hang their ****ing heads in shame.

    The ****s.

    The utter, utter ****s.

Attenborough has plummeted in my estimation too. If he had an ounce of human decency he would have said '**** off you back-peddling float goblins and have the human gonads to actually honour a decision even though it's not one that you'd have chosen.'

The contempt shown for people whom these arse toast bandits had the temerity to consult then ignore is breathtaking.

    Spineless cowardly ****s.

    I repeat, spineless cowardly ****s.

    I hope it ****ing sinks.

Or it's an excellent example of how society can still be protected from the idiocy of social media and the many ****s who thrive on it's silliness. :emoticon-0103-cool:

Social media malarky making silliness thriving ****s are still less ****ish than smug, self-serving back-peddling, dishonourable, promise breaking weasel ****ing ****s.

They're all ****s but one group holds a slightly elevated moral high mound.

Are you reading this, Brian? (See below the pic of our favourite pseudo-scientist.)

Major pharmaceutical companies were up in arms after The Doctors referred to it as “Viagra for the Brian”. This ground-breaking pill is called ADDERIN and many experts believe it could be the most powerful brain enhancer in the world.

It first came into the spotlight about 3 years ago when the creators of the “Limitless” movie cited ADDERIN as their inspiration for the fictional drug NZT-48. Soon after, it garnered widespread use amongst students, athletes, and business executives.

I couldn't find anything fishy about it. Do you want me to remove it? Or maybe you could do a screen capture for me and repost it (I don't think I can do that on an iPad)?

It's like one of those Derrin Brown things. I read that as "Brian boosting smart drug". I'd better buy a few dozen.

It reminds me of a story Mike Harding tells about Americans on a "see Britain in a day" trips.

So they can see what Britain was like 200 years ago, they take them to Rochdale. One of the Americans sees a bloke sat on his doorstep rolling little pellets, and asks what they are. "They're learning pills, and they make you right clever", says the old boy.

The American's intrigued, and buys the appropriate amount and,as instructed, shoves them all into his mouth. He's nearly sick, and spits them straight out. "That's sheep ****", he yells.

"Aye, you're learning", says the old boy.

There has to be an easier way than that to transport a crane.

Since I posted the songs earlier in the thread, Radiohead's new album came out at 7pm today.

In my opinion, it is just majestic. Absolutely brilliant.

Will probably get better with each listen.

Reminds me of my next door neighbour, who walked our dog when the family was away for the weekend.
He was having trouble finding the plastic bag (it was winter & he had a hard time getting his gloves off), and a woman from down the road was passing with her pooch and she came up to him, pointed to the sign nearby instructing dog-walkers to "Pick up after your dog !"
He stared at her and replied "It's not my bloody dog !".
Also, he was the head anaesthetist at the local hospital, and when our dog was on it's last legs, he suggested to my wife that he had access to a plethora of suitable drugs to put the poor "yapping" little bugger out of his misery. He even offered to bury him at the bottom of our garden.
We got on well - he needed a sense of humour to handle the death & destruction he saw everyday in the emergency critical ward !

Do the glass bricks require old fashioned mortar between them? I hate that stuff wearing away every time it rains especially when the gutters are blocked. Maybe these fancy bricks are just glued or something.
