The winners go straight into the group stages I believe.

Wow this could be an amazing season. Only 2nd to Leicester's season. It would be far better than Spur's season, that's for certain.

Spurs play a weak team against Dortmund thinking they would win the PL. Completely backfired and they won nothing <laugh>

Said yesterday, 5 English teams next year could well be

Leicester
Spurs
Arsenal
West Ham
Liverpool

Would be a break from the norm (bar Arsenal getting to last 16 then getting knocked out)

To maintain a challenge in both PL and Europe, all will need to strengthen significantly. As we've seen many times, maintaining a serious challenge on both fronts takes grew squad depth and quality.
 
Not being in Europe may help Chelsea out a great deal next season, provided we can still sign decent players that is.
I hope Liverpool win the EL to be honest. Our coefficient has taken a hit in the last 3 years.
We need to maintain that ****.

Maybe should have a pact. 1 year United, city, Chelsea, Arsenal take the league seriously only while Spurs Liverpool Leicester hammers take the CL seriously. Then following year, they reverse it and the others have a go in the CL after they finish 1-4 and the others have a go in the league.

Means we'd split the league winners up each year plus teams can concentrate on knocking Barca Bayern and Madrid off their high perch.

You had a good night, **** off. To be serious. I've actually enjoyed the intensity of every match, every week and would take that again.

We had 2 baskets to choose from and chose the right one. Made no sense for Pool other than to play their best team and fair play to them. Us finishing 2nd is fine, we get CL. That's why you boys are busting a nut, no other reason.

Winnng a trophy will always be more of a prize than CL football <ok>

It will be tough. Sevilla are no mugs and cup specialists too. The one advantage that Liverpool have is that Sevilla face Barca in the final of The Copa Del Rey on 22nd May. So they won't be as fresh.

luckily ill be home in time on the 18th and am off til the following monday, that was blind luck it worked out like that tbh
