You're making out like I've said Ranieri is a **** manager when i never said anything of the sort and I clearly talked about his failures before this season. Don't try and shift my point.
What's your point? Again, you're making out as if Ive said Ranieri didnt perform this season and he was lucky or something. Go back and read my posts, they all refer to the period before this season and that's why i said the story is remarkable and deserves a film.

... you said he had underachieved at Chelsea ... I disagree (for the reasons given above) ... he turned them into real title contenders IMHO ... Mourinho came in and finished the job .. but largely with Ranieri's players ... we'll disagree no doubt ... but I suspect Ranieri would have won the title that season too ... we'll never know.
Ranieri's really big spend at Chelsea was in his last year (£120m) and he finished second in the league, he might well have won it the following season had he been given the opportunity, we'll never know (it's certainly not worth arguing about for page after page).
