What's presumptuous about it?? It IS only one year that you've been anywhere near the top of the Prem. Conversely, we have been on Arsenal's tail for a few years now.

Whether you can repeat this year remains to be seen, as I have clearly said.
... must have missed you finishing in the top 3 ... perhaps you can remind me when that happened... I'll concede you have won the 5th place cup a few times ... :)

That's spurious Bollocks. The facts are simple. You were almost relegated last year after only recently having been promoted from the championship. We have been in the top 5-6 of the Prem for several years.

Your argument is full of holes. Nobody knows if Leicester can come anywhere near what they've done this season.

Leicester finishing above Spurs this season: "Oh it's a one off"

Spurs finishing above Arsenal this season: "Oh it's definitely a power shift"

[HASHTAG]#LouiesLogic[/HASHTAG] <laugh>

Because you don't really watch much football you don't seem to understand anything...stick to tar maccing drives.

Leicester have come from relegation battlers to league champs. Spurs have been progressing year upon year. So even a neutral would see that logic unless he's a deluded pikey Kant with butthurt or a Gooner in denial...or just plain thick.

That doesn't mean it will be a one off season for Leicester, but anyone can see the logic behind that thinking.

Er..no, it doesn't! As I've already said, and you keep desperately trying to avoid, we've been reeling you in for years now!...

As Spurlock says, trying to divert attention from your failings by belittling those of others is a poor smokescreen!

No, it's the same comparison. You keep banging on about 'reeling us in' but if you do manage to finish above us finally, it will be the first time in two decades !

As with Leicester, whether you can repeat that feat ever again, remains to be seen.

Going from being an upper midtable side to 2nd place in the league could be just as much a "one off" as Leicesters amazing achievement this season.

Upper mid table? Why don't you just say 5th, thick pikey Kant <laugh>

you seriously need to give up watching football, you can't grasp the spirit of the game.

Nonsense!

We have been right behind you for some time now. Given our comparative budgets, we should not really be that close - IF you had progressed, but you haven't! You have stood still or regressed whilst we, and possibly others, are closing the gap.

... perhaps you could define 'bollox' ...if it means 'factually correct' you are right ... for once ...because there was nothing in my post that wasn't factually correct <laugh>

I'm loving the suggestion that Arsenal have an expensively assembled squad whilst spurs' team has been put together on a shoestring. <laugh>

Spurs' have easily spent £200M+ on their mob.

The whole 'shoestring' nonsense that Spurs fans peddle is nothing but hot air. Since the PL began, they have spent almost as much as Man Utd on transfers. Also their much fabled net spend is higher than Arsenal's.

They've spent more and achieved less, those are the facts. <ok>

I'm loving the mantra from what A87 calls the "deluded Wengerites" . :D
I also remember the 'once in 20 seasons / one-off' blah-blah from the Mousers
in 2010 (how did that work out for them ?? ) .

As I have often said, Wenger has been skating on thin ice in the PL several times
this past decade and got away with it. But this season has been the perfect
storm and nowhere to shelter now.

I have a feeling things will be set right next season. A lot of the big clubs have defaulted this season, leaving the way clearer for others. Next season will of course tell us if this is a one off season for the current league leaders and their understudies. Remember Blackburn in 1995? Relegated 5 seasons later. It can happen <ok>

The only blah blah is this power shift nonsense. Spurs have achieved **** all so far, you have 2 decades of consistently finishing above us and winning titles in that time to prove there's been a power shift <ok>
