The six Oscars the film won are certainly to be commended but, winning awards for Film Editing, Production Design, Costume Design & Sound Editing etc brings next to nothing to my personal viewing entertainment ............ each to their own though mate.

I see what you're saying, but if the Film Editing, Production Design, Costume Design & Sound Editing etc were ****, you'd certainly notice. For the record, I really enjoyed it while my wife did not.

I thought Mad Max Fury Road was thoroughly mediocre, I wouldn't even give it a 5/10.
I would have said about 6/10 maybe, it's one of those films that divide people from what I've seen. I thought they should have used unknowns for the main parts instead of the likes of that posh Brit boy and the Hollywood lady, just didn't find him convincing at all and it spoilt the film for me. A big fan of Tom Hardy though ever since Bronson which I think is an amazing film, so nothing against his part.

"Woman in gold", I Absolutely loved it, and a true story
To boot.....makes up for some of the crap I've watched
The last few weeks, and at 70 Helen mirren looks
Bloody fantastic, her latest film is called "eye in the sky",
It also stars Alan rickman, trailer looks good.....

Went to see 'Eye In The Sky' last week. Great film. Saw 'Woman In Gold' a few months back - another very enjoyable film

GoT is right up there with one of the very best things to be screened, I envy anyone who's not watched it and has yet to start from episode one of the first series. It took me ages to be bothered to have a look as I thought that it was just fantasy ****e for youngsters, how wrong I was.

Watched episodes 4,5 and then the final 90min episode of Line Of Duty last night and it was seriously good viewing; really can't recommend this latest series enough, it was even better than series one, which was superb. Watch it, don't miss it!

Edit: Series 2 was great, too.

Quick heads up - just watched first episode of Penny Dreadful (Season3), Eva Green, Gods gift to men, never looked better! Looks like it's gonna be a belting series.
