Problem with that was, and speaking as an Evictee from E3 to N4, although I was a bit disgruntled about the timing and speed of it, I actually thought it had some merits, get everyone behind the goal who wants to sing, create the atmosphere etc. And in the first season, it did work to some extent, everyone stood up etc. However to then put the prices up again after a relegation season is pure business suicide. As we can see from the empty seats and lowest average attendence since we moved to the KC.
But.....we have to remember no-one can question their business accumen.
Start with 22,000 customers.
Get rid of 7,000.
Alienate the remaining 15,000 and punish the young and the elderly.
Yes, Richard Branson must be ****ting himself.

To say it worked is stretching a point to the extreme. The atmosphere could easily have been better without evicting people, pissing them off and splitting up the noisy fans was a ridiculous move.

No hindsight needed, I predicted the failings at the time, and take little pleasure in being right.

The sadness is that those involved, and those that wouldn't listen then, haven't learned. They still think they know best and still don't listen.

Which is why I totally understand Filey hoping that we don't get promoted, in the hope that the Allam's will finally **** off, and at the same time OLM hoping that we do as we'd have a greater chance of finding new owners.

If Carlsberg did divide and conquer...

Spot on mate .... ****ed if we do, ****ed if we don't

We're in a minority LB, we had a half hearted (but winning) battle re. the name change (booed by our own) and a less than half hearted response to the East stand ''cleansing'' - should we get back to the PL the KC will be packed next season, that's a FACT as they all say.
I doubt it ll be packed to be honest.

Even someone with bad luck, cannot get every business decision wrong every time.
Therefore I genuinely believe these are deliberate actions from two spiteful individuals who can actually afford to write the money off and stay just to be as damn beligerant as possible, upset as many people as possible, just because someone dared to say NO to their plans.
Sadly, whether we go up or stay down, I fear they may be here for a while yet......

Indeed. When i took my pass back the girl at the ticket office exclaimed a shocked "why??". Didn't have a clue bless her.

I felt pretty much alone at that time. And it was surreal taking my pass back as people were going in buying tickets.

But i did what i felt right. And i stick by that.

Listening to disgruntled fans now on Humberside. This really is a ****e state of affairs.

I agree, you're probably right JE, but it'll be packed in comparison to this season, no matter what scheme the Allams put in place - it'll certainly sell out some games (even without Stevie Geeeee).
Well if the scheme stays im out completely!! No matter what Division we're in.
No membership or match day tickets for me n daughter at that cost **** working hard all week for that.

Like or loathe David Burns one of the things that he said during either the Leeds or Reading game, can't remember which, was absolutely bang on the money, he said that Hull City is currently a hard club to love, and I'm afraid he's right. The stadium should be bursting at the seams at the moment, we have the play offs to look forward to but all around there is disquiet caused by a set of ****ing lunatic owners.

People keep saying that they need us to get promoted to get their money back, well someone should tell them to **** off altogether and we'd have a chance. Steve Bruce, yeah I know Hat, looks so ****ed off at the moment and I personally suspect that a lot of that is to do with having to deal with such a pair of ****s as the old man and his spawn on a daily basis, I'm fairly certain that I'd look ****ed off too if I was in that situation.

I get how you feel, it is a **** state of affairs. It's only the total bell-ends don't give a toss, I know a few old school types who are still going that feel the same as I do but just can't not go, I get how how they feel too; a few of those are getting closer to packing in though ....... they're wearing people down!

It's sad to hear, but also good to hear, fans at half time saying how Allam is destroying the club and Rotherham will be someones last game etc.

It seems most of us are now on the same page.

And fair play to Burnsy for his stance.

Yes the mist is clearing, it appears, especially from the display of red cards, that a good 95% at least are now seeing the Allam's for the poison that they are.

Already on twitter, so not "dobbing them in it".
Guess which group might not be getting any more work at the KCOM

Heh. At least that pic doesn't show the big disgraceful 1 904 tile above them.

When i lived down Walton St and walked home with my St Stephens Tesco shopping, oh the fantasies i had about defacing that bastard!

Wonder if anyone ever saw my middle finger as i clutched my (then free) carrier bag....

I know Paul Daniels is sadly no longer with us.......but you don't have to be magician......
"The club are pleased to announce the reinstatemet of the traditional HCAFC badge on all our merchandise and replica kit.
We have also revised our membership scheme and will simply apply last seasons prices less 30% keeping concessions and making football cheaper for all".
....Sign me up, i'd be back.....sadly Carlsberg don't do football announcements....
