If the B sample confirms UEFA's suspicions then Sakho is facing the prospect of a six-month ban. (James Pearce) [HASHTAG]#lfc[/HASHTAG]

Yeh **** timing and most likely means Skrtel will start on Thursday! <yikes>

<doh>

If it turns out he's been taking illegal substances I'll brain him myself! He's been solid lately.

I'm almost tempted to say I wish he could give Skrtel something he's been taking, but I doubt it would work!

Bloody eejit! I could wring his neck!

Treble has posted a thread on the subject on the premier league board.

"Lets begin by saying Sakho is innocent until proven guilty. We will very likely have to wait to see what comes back from his Test B sample.

But it is a serious point. If a player gets caught for doping in one game that doesnt mean he cheated in one game, it just happens to be the one he got caught in. Assuming he's tested positive for taking banned performance related substances, surely every game he has played is now suspect.

Secondly, and equally importantly, banning him alone doesn't undo the damage. It's a team sport and his team has had an unfair advantage.

Nothing will be done ofcourse but it is unfair on every club he's played against. I think every fan of every club should be rightly fcked off by this."

Treble is very deluded to assume the player hasn't been negatively tested in games previous to the EL game at OT by a combination of Uefa and Premier League/FA testers, regardless of that he reckons the allegedly guilty player's team and team mates should also be sanctioned irrespective of them taking no part or not knowing what the player in question had taken.

Sounds like Treble wants Uefa to overturn the EL result and get United into the EL semi final.<whistle>

Technically a standard ban is 2 years, 6 months would require UEFA to reduce the ban by taking the nature of the [HASHTAG]#fail[/HASHTAG] and mitigating circumstances into account

Since they also think chanting "Manchester is full of ****" is worth a charge but "murderers" isn't, I wouldn't assume any sense and take the reduction for granted at this point (should the test result be confirmed)

Be nice to see the FA issue out a points deduction on Pool.

The FA can deduct as many points as they like it's the PL points that matter

Let's say minus 1 million Hodgson Power Points to Liverpool <ok>

So Sakho is caught taking drugs and it somehow 'stinks'?

Hahaha typical Kopite mentality right there
