The basics, they looked Sunday league. The first was Oviedo losing the lad at the back stick and Stones for the second.
All apart from Joel need fooling off after that shambles.

Unless Martinez was instructing Stones to give our players all the time and space they want then none of the goals were his fault
That said, he should have realised his players were going to be cowards and protect themselves, and given some younger and less experienced players a chance to prove themselves

I'm not defending him. I had the same chat with Tobes, he will be replaced in the summer and he had to go. Players not performing has been his downfall, stones going from the real deal to a Sunday league player in the last year has hurt him.
I won't see his time with us as a flop, record points, great football for half his time here. It just needed a little tweak.

Just call it as I see it; Stones is a liability and Lukaku loves scoring goals that don't count for anything.
I don't have a problem with Barkley, and Deulofeu is good. So you're deluding yourself if you think it's Everton hatred.
You might also remember as far back as the World Cup I called out Howard as being garbage with the [HASHTAG]#prayforjoel[/HASHTAG] hashtag. Another example of just calling it as it is and being right.
It's astro hatred that's making you refuse to accept that Stones' positioning and Lukaku's inconsistency have cost you massively this season.
Reality is if I had to pick a defence to win an Everton game it would be Funes Mori and Jagielka, which has a better record than any pairing including Stones.
Martinez did change our defensive style. Splitting the CB, getting the FB's up the pitch both sides and getting one of Barry or McCarthy to drop in to make a three.
Stones is 21 ya plop lol...Hes being told to play as he is thats why hes going backwards wake up you will realise soon...
As for Lukaku if our defensive style hadnt changed then more wins would have been had...Its not individual players that are the problem its how we are being managed and told to play as a team....
