Apologies for making an assumption that a £13.5m striker would have been used at this point, had he been tearing it up in training, especially when his competition is Kone
He's not playing tomorrow or for the rest of the season - Martinez has said he's not 'ready' to play, despite having him in the bench every week as face saving exercise.
The only quotes about him supposedly being the Russian player of the year are from the British press. Find a reference that says he actually won that award, as I can't.
