An un-named source said one txt stated

"look, we will buy the club but then we will have to buy a team to go with it. Either be reasonable or keep the damn thing"

<ok>

Later it transpired they were trying to text Lerner. Massive disappointment for Roman who had got his hopes up. I hear a contract has been put out on all arabs with more than £3.50 in the bank.

Chelsea were woeful today. The whole club is a shambles and lacks any kind of structured leadership. It was inevitable given the ownership model.

It was interesting that the score reflected the fixture in Manchester, a win by three goals each time. But I feel Chelsea should be more worried by the defeat at lowly Swansea who were thrashed by lowly Newcastle. If Swansea can beat Chelsea then anyone can.

Oh please , we could not give a **** once we went behind , and it showed, were already on the beach and those players looking for to the Euro's are avoiding injury. It was a dead rubber. The only game that counts is the Spurs one, because the yids losing the league would be hilarious!

Need to start Mikel, Fab combo with Falcao & Pato up top.

No Kenedy, Bertrand, RLC - Gus!!

Cannot afford to take any points off City.

City should finish top 4 to avoid Luckchester from getting undeserved 4th spot.

Agent KDB will ensure City get all 3 pts tomorrow.

Up the City!!

A big advert in the Paddy Power window on North End Road had us at a £100 return on a £20 win bet and both teams to score. Little did I know that Man City would put out the strongest side they've got against us - unlike when we beat them 5-1 in the FA Cup. All the Man City fans that didn't fill the Shed End missed a master class from their team. De Braun does look a great player, unlike when I saw him play for us against Hull City when he was blazing shots over the bar.

That Manchester City side was easily the best team I've seen play at Stamford Bridge this season. I live in hope that Antono Conte will turn things around for us next season so we can compete at the top of the table with them.

Up the Chelsea !!!!! :1980_boogie_down:

No not the best, you're so much rubbish that you made them look better than they are.

......Manchester City, yesterday, put out the best side I've seen at Stamford Bridge all season. The problem with betting against them is that you never know which Manchester City team is going to turn up. I thought they'd rest their better players for their upcoming European Cup games - but I thought wrongly.

I was expecting full strength available as we need to fend off Utd for the CL spots
Nothing game for both of us really so I wasn't surprised to be sat in a half empty top tier at £54 a ticket, people just can't afford it
You were the best side to come to the Bridge all season. A great display from Manchester's finest.

I predicted that they'd swat you although even I didn't foresee such an embarrassingly uncommitted performance from Chelsea.

Indeed, and comparing Man City yesterday with our game against Manchester United this season at Stamford Bridge I'd say that the gulf in class between City and United has never been wider in City's favour in my lifetime. No surprise then that Man City are into the semis of the European Cup for the first time.

It depends what mood they're in. They didn't look all that when we beat them at the Etihad.
