Need to start Mikel, Fab combo with Falcao & Pato up top.

No Kenedy, Bertrand, RLC - Gus!!

Cannot afford to take any points off City.

City should finish top 4 to avoid Luckchester from getting undeserved 4th spot.

Agent KDB will ensure City get all 3 pts tomorrow.

Up the City!!

Boommm.. What an assist from KDB & finish by Aguero.

But credit where credit is due, that goal is made by Mikel all the way!!
Mikel - Credit always to the opposition!!

to quote BBC (Twitter) -
Jamie Jennrich: Hiddink's team selection has once again ensured there is a big hole in midfield, Mikel brings nothing to the team

But Jamie is so wrong - Mikel brings everything to the team albeit opposition team.

You're an embarrassment. Enjoy midtable mediocrity for the foreseeable future <ok>

Havent seen you here since that brexit thread! Hows things?

Anyway, we'll see. New manager, shed loads of money, good youth prospects, im very hopeful for our future the sooner this season ends the better.

Pretty much an an academic exercise - we achieved our prime objective which was to avoid a relegation battle; with no prospect of European qualification and a struggle for top signings Hiddink is only doing the sensible he can do and that is to experiment with young talent; no doubt we will get a few hidings but it goes with the territory......roll on May.

Not sure why I wasn't, I don't think much has been happening with Chelsea is probably why (no wum). And I actually was on holiday for a while <laugh>

If you bring through those youth players then fair play, but will there be an an even greater pressure for instant success after this season... meaning any new manager will play safe and simply buy? Personally, I think the days of buying "ready made" big names and then expecting them to just work is becoming unrealistic. Even when Chelsea bought and built a decade ago, they had the core of JT and Lampard there, and Drogba was on the cusp of greatness not some big name.

Roman looked totally dejected today, the shot of him taking txt bids on his phone spoke volumes, he was being offered far less than he needs to break even.
