If we were top of the league winning every game like Burnley, the fans would be fine. You know full well why we are pissed off, get off your high horse and let people reflect on what was a very poor performance without this bullshit attitude that anybody with a non pro-city view is not a fan.

Were you there tonight?

Some of what you've posted is absolutely ridiculous. Trying to make a teammate look poor? Get real.
He has been doing it for most of this season- seems to resent Odubajo down the same flank, seems to want to 'expose' him by exaggerating any errors Odders makes, and never shows for throw-ins etc.

This has been going on since last Autumn, not just tonight.

We go again.

At last we get a last minute winner like other teams do. Great reward for those fans who stayed till the end instead of poodling out on 85 mins. That feeling is what you pay your entrance fee for, not to see a 3-5-2 with false number 9 and inverted midfield diamond......
Last minute winners though: when we do it, it 'papers over the cracks' whereas when other teams do it, it's a sign of their 'winning mentality' according to the armchair managers.
Had you watched the 3 games where that happened this week you may well have come to the same conclusion.

I'm not interested in watching other games - there's far too much football on tv.
Yet again, Steve Bruce's substitutions are spot on and ensure we get the points.

I love your positivity and enthusiasm Filey - it is quite infectious and always makes me smile! Wish it would infect a few more at times though!

i was peed off at how poor the game was but that vanished when we got the winner
In the dying seconds...

Its a great feeling to win with a last minute goal.

A bad day is when your not alive....not when you watch a poor game.

To me its an insult to all those iv met in the last 8 years who are no longer here for me to moan to much about anything..

I shared a room with a good lad at castle hill who was only 28

Exact same thing as me....

Im still here...he isnt

How can i have a **** day compared to him ?

I think we al know that though as we have all lost friends and family members

We are the lucky ones really.

:)

A lot of people (including myself, and people around us) booed the Dave instead of Elmo decision, as it was just farcical.

Do agree with the Clucas comments though, cheering him coming off is just a waste of time - even though he was absolutely shocking tonight.

I said to my mate as we were watching it on Sky that it'd be Odubajo coming off. Simply because it always is. For whatever reason it's obviously Bruce's preferred choice of attacking sub. He must see Elmo as more of an attacking threat than Moses.

They were collectively poor, no single player can be held responsible. It ****ing irritates me that 'fans' call him 'Clueless'. No better than Charon and his personal vendetta against Alex Bruce and Meyler (Clearly he was turned down by one or both players when he got refused an autograph or a 'selfie') such is his teenage angst.

ffs - you're making yourself look stupid - I realise you've already posted that Junior was the best centre back outside the top six teams in the Prem not so long ago and you're probably embarrassed about saying it - he had a real stinker tonight and hopefully Maguire will be playing on Tuesday - for what it's worth I actually agree with you about Clucas

Which is symptomatic of most rose tinted City fans.

As for the subs, it's one of his worst attributes, only he knows why he started Elmo over Snodgrass in the first place and brought off Odubajo instead of our Egyptian friend.

But in your eyes it isn't worth discussing because he's a manager and we aren't and we aren't privvy to anything so therefore we couldn't possibly have an opinion on the subject.

Dio must have run into a genie over the summer, he's scored 2 absolutely flukey goals this season for us, but I was very happy he started and he had a few moments where he looked quite good. Over a run of fixtures he should start to get some confidence and consistency in his game.

Why didn't Snodgrass start? He's been our only decent player in 2016 really, and Elmo's been worse than useless all season.

I actually thought he looked ok in this game, but then he was playing against a debutant at left back.

Blatant penalty missed by the ref as well.

I don't see enough games 'live' to make an overall judgement on individuals or the team but the crowd said it all for me last night - 15,000??!! Are you serious?
If that has been the standard throughout the season then no wonder. Hull Crabs strutting their stuff yet again.
It was worth watching for that exquisite free kick from Snoddy (who looked terribly 'brittle' last night but wasn't on his own) to snatch the points.
Why was Steve McClaren at this game?

McClaren used to play for us, as they mentioned in the commentary. Thought you would have remembered him?

There have been games against worse teams when we could have done with flukey wins, but you take every one you get. I'm sure SB knows what his intentions are, but not too sure the players do. How doesn't Snodgrass start? Move on and be done with it, again. More and more supporters staying at home and becoming armchair managers, as at times the camera shots had a problem finding occupied seats in view and that is no exaggeration; really looked very poor - the shape of what's to come?

Don't agree that they were flukey goals. He capitalised on two opposition errors by being in the right place at the right time. That's good strikers instinct in my book. How often has a similar error occurred and the other side has got away with it because we didn't have a player who had anticipated a potential mistake?

I don't think that Michael Owen is the greatest pundit in the world but he regularly makes the point whilst covering BT Sport games about forwards needing to get into the space where the ball may unexpectedly turn up. Diomande seems to be good at that particular aspect of forward play.
