If Barca absolutely collapsed in CL and La Liga, he might be a leading candidate. Luis Enrique was hired after a fairly indifferent season at Celta (and having previously underwhelmed at Roma) because of his history with Barca...seems to be one of the primary qualifications for the job now, heh.
Anyway, all the speculators can go home. Ronald says he honours his contracts** if he isn't sacked beforehand and Saints aren't going to sack him. So he's staying until the end of next season, at least. **tbf, I've not checked that. Must do that when I'm bored enough.
Yeah, I didn't get that at all. We even had a poll and there were a few sane people here voting Yes and Maybe. Very odd.
He left PSV in October of 2007 to manage Valencia: http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/european/koeman-leaves-psv-for-valencia-398431.html
Going to pour myself a glass of wine before I watch this... Ooh dear. I had to quit that half way through as I'd remembered I've got the Victorinox in the pocket. That wine didn't last long either.
Yeah sure. Wife is coming too (amateur I know) and "little" brother (taller than me). I'm offline the rest of this week but remind me next week and I will work out what we are doing.
So he's happy again. Frankly, I very much doubt whether he was properly unhappy. Bearing in mind that, in football terms, if you are slightly disappointed, you're absolutely gutted. And if you are in a slightly positive frame of mind, you're over the moon. So, in the words of so many football supporters, I was gutted when I heard he was unhappy, but I'm over the moon now that I know he's fine. Excuse me while I reach for the sick bag.
Luckily my wife works most Saturday's so Saturday games are no problem for me.... Got a feeling it will be 17.30 kick off live on Sky.
Never though he was unhappy. As a player, he wants to play all the time and at his stage of development he may be concerned that he isn't a regular starter, but considering his future never made him the unhappy player angry with RK that the article suggested.
