The Saints first team coach drove past me in Edinburgh on Friday night at about 10:30pm.. Any idea what it was doing all the way up there?
http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2016/04/1...ry-on-twitter-that-theyre-nothing-without-sh/ A few of the twitterati pointing out how important Long is to the team. Whilst I realise that all players contribute to the performance, I do think Long is a game changer. Although you still have to be a good player, speed is a hell of a weapon as it causes chaos and fear amongst defenders. Mane at his best can have a similar effect, but isn't quite the dynamo that Shane is. Don't think it's a coincidence we lost to Leicester in his absence.
And Shane's ability to get up after being clattered is second to none in this league. I thought Darlow maybe had killed it at one stage, he kinda went up in the air then landed on his head! How he continues sometimes really baffles me. He is such a massive assist. Hope Hull enjoyed the measly £12M. Bargain..
There was a collision between Pellè and one of the Newcastle defenders in the first half on Saturday after which the defender helped Graziano to his feet and tried, without success, to ruffle his hair!
Good question.. I'll try to find out! It did catch me by surprise, especially as I was explaining my love of Marian Pahars and Chris Marsden to my girlfriend at the exact moment it drove past.
When it isn't required by the Saints it is used for other executive charters, a coach sat in the garage doesn't earn its keep.
I'm not sure it's going to be used a lot by other companies when there's a dirty great Saints badge on the side. Besides, SFC give it plenty of use. Anyway, what I've found out. The Starliner coach is made by a German company called Neoplan, who are nowadays part of the Man Truck & Coach Group. The Starliner is part of a Premiership Range of vehicles hired from Ellison's Travel Services who deck the coach out in a specific quality detail and arrangement to the client's requirements. It is just about as luxurious as it gets for a relatively short distance team travel bus. However, it is no longer in production, hence the Neoplan website below doesn't feature it. http://www.ellisonstravel.com/ http://www.neoplan-bus.com/cms/en/home.html https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neoplan But why it was up in Scotland I still don't know. Development squad fixtures?
Ron's cousin lost his camera on a bus and Ron and Erwin are asking if they can have the memory card back as there are lots of family photos on it. That's the problem with not getting photos developed, but just accumulating them. Hope he gets it back.
