No it's not ,I know it might seem a bit outlandish, are you not a bit worried about the association of trainer jockey owner?
Are you watching hignfy it may open your eyes to what really goes on in this uncorrupt world we live in.
Oh no, not again. Ron, who are you, Charlie Chaplin? You've got to stop making this lawyer laugh. Anyway, Fred Astaire belongs to WoolcombeFolly007. Seriously, I understand FloridasPearl's thoughts on this, but I honestly don't think the guy would risk life and limb to fall off a horse jumping a fence racing at speed, not with his vast knowledge of the game? As already commented-on, he has a family to think of, let alone his own life. Vautour put in a real short one and paid the price. Would agree about this Ricci fellow, there are too many grey areas about this joker. Not at all sure whether he's a fit person to be an owner.
He is not corrupt. He is brilliant. Horses fall he got in tight. A 1/4 shot means it has an 80% chance of winning but that means it has a 20% chance of losing. Its called gambling. Win some lose some...
Brilliant at what, filling his pockets whilst almost bankrupting one of the biggest banks in the world and putting loads of serfs on the dole. Someone to look up to.
I'm talking about Ruby Walsh. Vautour got in tight and fell c'est la vie. Whats the big deal ? It happens.
Fractured wrist rules Ruby Walsh out of Grand National You were only supposed to bruise your bloody elbow
Bit much, I hate ruby as much as the next man at the moment, especially for fracturing his wrist as this voids my last bet tomorrow which would have won me some money back. It's the risk of jump horse racing, **** happens.
This isn't a serious thread is it? Occupational hazard of being a jump jockey is falling off, it happens. Wayne Rooney is a striker and a goal scorer but he doesn't score every time he shoots does he
So heres the thing! Ruby aint skint! Ruby MIGHT need a wee bit appearance money after his career! Look at AP! So to be corrupt at this point and caught far out weighs what he might gain for his FAMILY in the coming years! now thats a rational view before "learning" how to fall off a horse at 45mph whilst it jumps a fence! Now I talk from my pocket occasionally but seriously.....................
Yes but obviously he made the horse fall, its only worth been a crook if there's a real risk that you can break your neck or back or something!
Vautour is not an innocent party here either. He was spotted doing some stunt work with Mike the stunt horse in a field outside Carlow town during the off season the daily mail has reported. Obviously training to fall right and if you look close enough just before the fence you can see Ruby lean in and whisper the words "this fence now V" just before the fall. It might look accidental, but something far more sinister is going on and floridaspearl is dead right.
You know what! On reflection it was probably a stupid thing to say, because ruby is a great sportsman. I'm still uneasy about a few things but I'll leave it there. We've had the debate and taken onboard your views
Just returned from the shrink, She (really nice, that's why I go there) said for me not to worry, not serious. That'll be €300.00. That's the last time I complain about laughing and dancing.........
