If the market is right then confidence in Limini is not exactly huge. I am taking her on with AGRAPART. The form of the Tolworth and of the Betfair is working out stunningly well. Conditions should really suit quite nicely and I think the price is fair each way value. These Lizzie Kelly rides often seem to be better value than one might expect but she is capable enough even without her claim.
I feel like I'll get lucky with a Trixie today: Rosquero at 5.50 in the 14:40 at Newcastle Un Noble at 3.50 in the 16:25 at Newcastle Balko Des Flos at 13.00 in the 16:40 at Aintree Good luck! http://freebetcalc.com/odds-calculator/trixie-calculator?prefill=5.50,3.50,13.00
Hugely keen on Buveur D'air next but please note that it's not a step up in trip today- they are running over the 2m 1f. I too initially thought it was 2 and a half but apparently not.
What do you make of it though. He looked all out to beat the Supreme 8th. Limini not nearly as good as expected off the bridle.
Getting carried away with those mares races can be dangerous- only one of them is real top class and that's Annie Power. Remember that Limini beat the mighty 124 rated Dusky Queen LTO.
Bonkers price, all hype and form wasn't in same league as the winner. Think that was a poor race today too. Limini to be a flat horse from now on?
Buveur D'air will be better on softer ground- that Aintree track looks like it's drying out to me. I'd like Buveir D'air for the Arkle next year personally if I can get some 16/1 perhaps. He travels well and has a high cruising speed which should suit as an Arkle contender.
Just watched yesterday's recording (missed the racing yesterday). How impressive were Apple's Jade and the lovely Annie
