    Unlikely racing quotes Volume 1:

I've been there as part of a stag do on the day McCoy won the National and its a top spot if you're with a group not completely mad keen on the racing (bar me that was!). I'd never dream of heading to Cheltenham with the same crowd put it that way. Found it a lot easier to navigate than Cheltenham too, which suited us well.

There's nowhere quite like Cheltenham though.

Nicholls is a useless fat **** - how can he turn out an animal that pulls up like that with a circuit to go?

Yes, indeed, very sad. It's a bitch of a track, in many respects.

Paul Townend or the majority of pros would be worth a nose over Patrick round 3m to be fair. The winner was very game but Bellshill, at last, looked a class horse. 3m is what he needs clearly.

Rodneythetrotter is a massive price on his running with Andy from early season. He's still getting some weight here too, coming In fresh as a daisy. Had a small piece of the 40/1 available. Could blowout easily but again worth it at the price.

Didn't appear to do much wrong there really Beefy? Clipped the 2nd last alright but sure Ruby would have had him on the deck at the final hurdle anyway <laugh>

No he didnt do much wrong at all just outbattled in finish perhaps. It's just a view that over 3m Ruby is surely but surely worth a nose over an amateur?!! Has to be! Small margins can be decided by jockeys...

PS Yes part of me did think Ruby would a managed to deck him at that mistake. He's got Douvan to do that to sure... <run>
