the spades may have stopped because the university may have pulled out of sponsoring the club. heard today that it was "very likely" that the UoG wont be sponsoring cafc next year.
part of the deal was that the UoG get to use the training ground for the P.E type degrees (sports science etc). if they pull out it may explain why there'll be no work going on

it's only hearsay at the moment. but one of the people who gives out the tickets at UoG said that it's not likely to be renewed. although they wont have any say on if the deal stays in place or not.

No work carried out at Sparrows since start of March when the 3G pitches were finished off. Nothing started on new training complex.
I was told that we can only have a Cat 1 Academy in Prem or Champ so the Douche will not spend any more money on Sparrows Lane until we get promoted.... can't help feeling we will require new planning permission by then

You can have a category 1 academy in league 1. The extra costs mean it's not financially viable.
