Roof, you have misread the context of this post. Kiff is not directing the final sentence at you in any way shape or form. He is fully directing that at Guido and nobody on this board. Hell, I even liked the comment and if I thought there was a chance it was directed at someone on here, I'd have pulled him up on it.

If you re read the entire post again, you will see that it is with absolute certainty a post/sentence directed at Guido and not yourself.

Hopefully this will now draw a line over a misunderstood post and we can let the dust settle

Just read Taylors comments and dont really see any problem myself: "Of course we would welcome Brendan Rodgers back, He's a man who has done great things for the football club, so there is no reason why we wouldn't welcome him back."" sounds like someone asked him would you welcome him back(stupid question really what else is he going to say nope the guys a twat!) He then goes on to say "The word speculation is key though - we don't really know anything at the moment and we shouldn't really bother ourselves with it" Seems fair to me, does he really need to be any more diplomatic. If he comes great but right now I dont really care is, what he is actually saying.

From what I have been told Rodgers is a done deal and if thats true then both the current manager and players probably know this too so his comments can be seen in an even more diplomatic light.. just my opinion of course

You're right - I'm not on the receiving end of this thread, but surely you know that no matter what you say, you're not going to change his opinion if he thinks these things about you. When all else fails, read the manual.

Anyway, back to the thread. It would be interesting if we had a poll on Brendan's impending return - which seems likely. Personally I'd have him back because he'll get us playing again. However, if De Boer was a possibility that would be my preferred option.
