Who have been our three dazzlers and who have been our three disappointments so far this season? Here's my verdict for Yahoo! Sport: https://uk.sports.yahoo.com/news/southampton-dazzlers-disappointments-2015-16-010330149.html
Soo after some advice... Can't decide on whether to do Everton or Villa away? Or as I would probably have to go on my own as no mates will come shall I just go to City at home which is my birthday weekend?
http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/southampton/news/42415/ According to article in the Ugly Inside, Saints have reopened talks with Pelle. No evidence cited, but then this isn't the rumours thread.
Villa away if you have never been. Good stadium, good chance of victory and probably the last time we will play them for a few seasons.
http://www.skysports.com/football/news/29212/10222375/in-focus-southampton-defender-virgil-van-dijk Saints report on VVD. Stats support what we see...he excels in every area considered (though below average on tackles won**) and has scored those important 3 goals. **nit picking
Good call. Great fans too. Friendly, and knowledgeable in the main. Difficult for me to say, as Everton is one of my favourite grounds, but the "chance of victory" should swing it. I always reckon our lot should be given the day off when we play at Goodison. Let them go shopping with their partners. Last time I remember us winning there was 1974 - and we were relegated. Anyone with a better memory? Note FLT, I didn't mention .... shhh you know who.
http://sportwitness.ning.com/forum/...possible-as-southampton-transfer-gets-messier Talk that Twente may get a points deduction over the transfer of Tadic to Saints....something to do with third party ownership. They've already been fined, so not sure if this isn't s*** stirring.
Unlucky, mate. See Saints are so crap people are giving their tickets away. Hope we win well for you, mate!
Yes! In about 1991-93 maybe, we won 1-0 through a Barry Horne goal. I was working on the Wirral and staying in a travel lodge that night, so drove though the tunnel to have a look at the grounds and had forgotten we were playing there that night. I had no card back in those days and only a cheque book so they wouldn't let me buy a ticket. I listened to it on Radio Mersey or something similar.

http://www.empireofthekop.com/2016/04/01/liverpool-turned-down-sadio-mane-deal-due-to-stupid-reason/ Blog saying that Liverpool failed to sign Mane when they had the chance because his stats didn't fit their criteria, so we ended up with a bargain. I think it is just that Liverpool like players to have our seal of quality....though they may not feel so strongly about that now.
