Just read back through to catch up:

    - I agree that De Boer fills me with more excitement! Rodgers is probably the safer choice and will give us what we want - yes, he has history and baggage but he is more experienced now than when he was here and will have made mistakes for Liverpool which hopefully he would correct for us. De Boer would be a great appointment but would be an unknown quantity with no sure-fire guarantee that he'd get us back to the old Swansea - but we didn't go for Koeman for the same reason and have lived to regret it.
    - Allen IS better than Cork and Ki. He would allow us to push the severely underperforming Ki out the door (probably for 6-8 million), allow Cork and Britton to share the DM role, and give Gylfi better service in the AM role. His only real comparison in our squad right now is Fer and Ki, and if you've been watching Allen this season, he's playing at a far higher level than them currently.

Is that before or after Monk takes or turns down the England job ......lol......time will tell dai , My guess , Rodgers probably won't get another big job , Monk probably won't get another top 2 flights job in England

De Boer has been brilliant in the Dutch league and looks a good manager there but i worry why no English Big club have not been interested enough to snap him up....What sort of wages would he command as im all in favour of paying a decent wage to attract a good manager but not silly money on an unknown in premiership football, With Rodgers you know what you are getting and is the safest choice that i personally would want as the manager but i would not go crying in my soup if we decide to go with De Boer....

Guido is currently being linked with the Italy job , a job he was linked to a few years ago ....not sure some really understand the credentials and respect our current manager has outside our club , surprising really .

But are his credentials/abilities good enough to return us to the Swansea Way roof? That is what we are questioning.
He is not capable of delivering us results, playing our brand and style of football.

Would you rather keep Guido next season over, let's say, Brendan, De Boer, Berkamp, Sampaoli etc?

I would keep Guido over ANYONE .....to much change will be our downfall , mark my words .
Starting from scratch with this squad and new transfers , heaped on any manager in the summer spells trouble .
Keep in mind , I would have been happy carrying on with Curtis as he stabilized the team after Monk But no ....
Huw wasn't done power tripping yet .
Come seasons end we will have a confused squad , as they are already since Curtis was skipped over .
But what is done is done and I' m on board with Guido as long as he gets time to rebuild
If a new manager comes through the door come summer , I want Jenkin's going out that door....he is the problem and not the solution to anything anymore . His word is worth nothing , like his handshakes .

Why? He wouldn't have betrayed Guido as he's only on a 6 month contract. He was brought in to help Curtis keep us up. It's a job done, and he and we move on.

He has only been here for 5 minutes ffs.......Change is what we need at the club and that change is changing Back to a system that has given us all our success and who better than Brendan to do that...

"I would keep Guido over ANYONE"

Based on what? It can't be on what we've seen so far. Guidolin isn't planning for the future here despite what you say and Brendan's attendance at the next game has confirmed that. Whatever you want it isn't going to happen, thankfully.

As for you wanting Jenkins 'out the door', another thing that isn't happening any time soon. As Valley says, Guidolin was hired on a short term contract with one simple brief - keep us up. Job done, so thank you very much. Now **** off and take your negative, ****e football somewhere else. :)

A guick recap on the chairman and managers this season.
We spend the absolute least amount on transfers in the summer as any other team by a long shot.
Not totally sure who brought in Eder and Tabanou , but pretty sure it was Jenkin's ......a total waste of limited funds Things are looking pretty bad in general with a good time to ditch Monk being after the Norwich game .....Jenkin's doesn't do it .
After Monk sh:ts the bed even worse for a bit more , Jenkin's sacks him at the worst possible time just before the Christmas rush .
Jenkin's is offering the job around , jumping on plaines and such ... No one wants the job given the circumstance when offered and we're basically fuked .
Meanwhile , back at the ranch , Curtis takes the team by the scruff of the neck and starts pulling us out of the mess Monk and Jenkin's walked us into ....miraculously.
Players are reacting to Curtis and times are good .
Jenkin's sees we are functioning very well and thinks ... " Let's give Curtis the job till seasons end " and does.
A week later he gives the job to Guido .
Not my choice on what I wanted ( wanted Curtis to stay in charge till summer at least ) , but Understand Guido is a manager of substance and try to show loyalty to what I' m given .
    Final thought ... Who's stupider , Jenkin's or Aussie ..... It a tosser up .

<doh> Clearly not. I liked your 'recap' though. Full of stuff we never knew. <laugh> If you went back to contributing instead of bitching you'd be the poster you used to be.

Some may think having 4 different managers in a 25 game span is good , I'm not one of them .
I want Guido to stay mostly because I want players to have some sort of stability , simple .
