Might not. We are mediocre in Europe with Spain utterly dominant at the moment but the Italians are worse than us!
The problem for us is that Italy outscored us by 5.5 (ish) co efficient points in 14/15 season. Means the gap will be closed from 4 co-efficient points to almost 0.5 points (worst case scenario for us as LFC & MCFC could still pick up a few points) because of the 11/12 season dropping off the calculations. As long as that is in the equation Italy have a massive advantage over us and we need to do significantly better than them every season, not match them to keep the spot.

We have outscored them in every other season (bar 14/15) since 05/06 so hopefully can continue that trend by a big enough margin to offset the 14/15 season.
They still have only 3 teams in the CL (which has more bonus points than the EL) and Juve excepted, their teams are as mediocre as ours, so we have a decent chance.
I think personally they will run out of ground pretty quick
why?
1. they'd need to buy about 6 players just to be able to manage the two games a week
2. they've had a great run with one game a week having thrown the cup and frankly barring vardy having a little op they have no real set backs in injuries

bascially its only going to get harder for them and they can break everything that made them good this year by buying players to play 6 group games.
It depends who they get as 2nd and 3rd seeds... remember. dortmund, real, roma, etc etc will all be second seeds based on clu coefficients
If leicester get a nice 4th seed I think they can beat them but then who do they get as 3rd seeds?
big big ask for leicester IMO.
Bascially schmeichal is ok keeper, pretty good. Their defenders are no great shakes, midfield are decent but kante is a class above, drinkwater has done well but hes not a top 4 player... mahrez has been brilliant. Vardy has been very effective.
You can't just expect to beat proper well drilled sides (and no the prem has very to compare with european sides)

Theres a huge issue with one single season so in reality england needs LFC to beat dortmund and city to beat PSG this year and then next year we desperately need ANYONE to go further than juve,

I hope I'm wrong, I'd be quite happy with them surprising the Champions League regulars for England... But I can't see them getting beyond group stages or finishing top 6 in league next year.

People forget this is a bunch of guys on 30k or less having a miracle. The minute their 4 best players are offered 120k they won't stay.
