I was in the same end from where the petrol bomb was thrown (it wasn't me I need to point out)
what I heard on that day was a lad was thrown through a glass window by chelsea, and later found out it was he who came to the match armed with a petrol bomb
was in the Fulwell end in 85 with the rest of the lads
was in the paddock area with another 1000 toon, when the smb played Gillingham
was in the main stand when O'brien put one over the wall, with many more in the paddock below
one of the better songs sung in them days was

Respectful of one of the finest Gentlemen to represent North East football, not just NUFC............... absolutely.
