Great result for Norwich in the Tyne Wear Derby – keeps both of them in the bottom three!

Even funnier down at St Mary’s with the Scousers blowing a 2-0 lead and going down 3-2 to Southampton. Klopp had best start doing his homework on his former club and drawing up his list of who to get rid of this summer from his squad of underachievers.

Well that's that buggered, Wouldn't have included Katachenko if I'd known it was going to be odds on; what a ridiculous price. That 25/1 winner was a début for the new yard. How often does that happen? Does anyone know what the Level Stake P/L would be backing all horses having their first run for a new stable, having switched from another stable?

Time to turn Long Run out in a field somewhere. He really owes them nothing and I would hate to see him come to grief at Aintree.

Racing Post carries a report now that he's been retired. Good decision. Also says Waley-Cohen has got a 7 day ban for easing up on the ol boy in the run in. Not seen the race but that seems harsh. Surely they will appeal and get it turned over.

They could do with retiring and sticking Sam Waley Cohen in a field too!
