I'm telling you, Mockney Spiv should have bitten LVG's hand off when he came sniffing for one season wonder Kane.

*bump*

Oh, dear! That was an embarrassingly premature thing to have written!

Spuds could have made out like bandits selling one season wonder wet n windy to Utd.!

"Wet n windy" was the hilarious nickname that Pixie came up with for Kane.

When I say "hilarious," what I should say is "hilariously inappropriate.

Ouch! This isn't getting any better for Pixie, is it!

Nearly as bad as your one 'Harry Lame' that one came back to haunt you and you were wumming your own player <laugh>

You're entitled to your opinion I suppose. Most people who watch him would disagree with you I suspect.

As for Kane, my opinion is that he is a one season wonder. I think he's going to find this season really tough, partly because you haven't strengthened (in any real meaningful way), partly because Spurs are now relying on him to reproduce what he did last seaspon and partly because he went under the radar last time. Now that defenders have got the measure of him, he will be man marked and targeted. I think he'll struggle to score anywhere near the number of goals he did last seaosn.

*bump*

Ouch!

Now we can see why Pixie runs away from expressing any kind of opinion. It's because he's completely crap at it.

What's that saying Pixie uses? Something about wum fcuk-ups coming back to haunt people...?

See, this is where you completely fcuk up on the wumming front, Pixie! No one is disputing that I (briefly) referred to Kane as "lame" at a time when he wasn't scoring, but it was always clear that that name would only stick for so long as he didn't score. My posting history amply demonstrates that I had every faith in him that he would find his shooting boots eventually.

You, however, said that Kane was a one-season wonder. Well, clearly, he isn't. You were wrong.

Why do you not simply admit you were wrong, and that will be the end of it?

Nice essay, but you ****ed up, whilst wumming your own player <laugh>

i doubt real's fans would entertain Kane tbh regardless of his cl exploits.

not knocking him but he's not a glamour player so to speak.

Bale Ronaldo Kane

Suarez Messi Neymar

hardly compares does it

Doubt Ronaldo is going to be at Real for much longer.

Who else is there for Real to go after with Kane's attributes?

I have no doubts that Real will come knocking, but they will know that Levy won't want to sell Kane, and will only do so if Kane puts in a transfer request (and Kane has not only given absolutely no indication that he would do that, on the contrary, he has given every indication that he wants to remain at Spurs and - to use his own words - become a legend). And if Kane did put in a transfer request, his sale price is likely to eclipse what we got for Bale, to such an extent that I don't think Real would be able to afford him.

Of one thing I am absolutely certain, however - he will never go to either United or Chelsea whilst Levy is in charge at Spurs. Nor do I see Kane wanting to go to either of those clubs when he can see that this Spurs team is far more advanced in terms of its development.

The only reason any player like Kane would have considered either Chelsea or United is to get into the England squad, but that's all changed. These days, young English talent want to come to Spurs in order to get into the English squad.

Times have changed, lads. The Prem is no longer like it used to be. Spurs have been knocking on the door for a long time, and we've finally taken a step across that threshold. Go and plunder Leicester or the Spanners, if you are looking to bully other teams into giving you instant glory, but I seriously doubt you are going to find any easy pickings at Levy's Emporium of Supreme Talent.

Real will never ever in the world, EVER! put in a bid for Harry Kane, you have my word on this Haig :)

Phew! I must say, that is a huge relief, Sucky! Thank you.
Mate im just happy to get here quick and stop this madness before it begins, luckily i had my trusty LalaLand-o-meter on me otherwise i would never have been aware of this this very very close call.

Are you saying kane would more likely be wanted by barca than madrid rdbd?

<laugh> cheered me up a bit since skrtel got beat 3-2 today by saints <laugh>

In terms of team contribution/harmony, yes.
Regardless of their stellar talent, Barca players have to put in a shift as equals.
Kane does that for Spurs, scoring or not.

Perez on the other hand is just like a dealer looking for the new drug to
feed their plastics before they go 'white hankies' on him.
