Barry Hines. Author of A Kestral for a Knave, which he adapted into the film script for Kes. And the script for Threads - one of the best TV dramas of the 80s. RIP He was responsible for writing one of the greatest football movie scenes of all time.
RIP Cliff....Another part of my youth departed this life. A great broadcaster...thanks for the memories Mr. Michelmore.
