Reading through all the comments on twtd, there are lots refusing to renew season ticket and who can blame them. Man has to go or we will lose the fans, some are even suggesting he is worst manager ever, that'll make RK smile
But not as much as smashing Alf-Inge Haaland did...

No not the worst manager we've had,RK will always hold that mantle,but MM runs him a pretty close second in my opinion.The sooner we're rid the better.
Very harsh assessment given the final league positions. In terms of style of play and how we lose games I can (sort of) understand the argument. This season has been very poor, in particular when you consider the summer transfers were intended to upgrade and refresh a team that reached the playoffs.
But, as frustrated as I am, Im happy to give MM the summer to regroup again. Because, all things considered when a bad season is a top 10 season, things can't be that bad really.
Haha So you're comparing the guy who got us out of the relegation zone and then into the play offs on next to no money with some two bob pikey thug who wasted millions of ME's money on dross?

MM said in his post match radio interview that he took full responsibility for the wrong team selection and he thought the team that beat Blackburn should start this match which seems reasonable, we were better after Feeney came on but Rotherham played well and defended with strength.
Everyone says that mid field is our problem and I go along with that but although I'm a Bru fan I have to say that he's been poor in the last few games which doesn't leave many options and for people to say that MM is the worst manager we've ever had is total rubbish, what short memories some people have.
I'm as pissed off as anyone but we have to remember we are a team mostly made up of free transfers so are we one of the best sides in the division? No we are not, Boro played yesterday with a team which included Rhodes, Downing, Nugent, Friend, Adomah, and Ramirez, who's combined worth is tens of millions so let's be realistic about our abilities and potential.
On the subject of being realistic how many of today's posters were at the match today? How many actually attend away matches? There seems to be lots of people shouting the odds but how many actually attend home and or away matches? Without investment in quality players we can't hope to improve.

I've been watching Town since the early 1970s and I can't remember many years when I have looked forward to going to Portman Road less than I do at present.So no,I won't "get a ****ing grip !!"
I have shelled out I don't know how many £1000s in season tickets over the years and really, for the first time, I am seriously wondering if I don't bother renewing and picking and choosing which games I go to next Season(great business plan ME/MM,pee off your most loyal customers!!)

Living in Northampton it costs me the best part of £100 for every home match I attend, I much prefer to do away matches, easier to get to (on the whole), better support, a better day out...Having said that I find myself just casually going to Sixfields these days to watch Northampton Town in what will be their promotion season...not that I give a **** if they win or lose, but it's nice to visit a club that has a real positive energy about the place, and play some decent football too.
Good on you Welly for getting to as many games as you can,and also for watching your local side.My frustration with Town at the moment is the sheer mindless quality of the football.For professional athletes they just display such a total lack of talent or coherent plan, which can only be down to the coaching/management staff.I think the game where it came home to me most this Season was the first game against Portsmouth where you would have been hard pressed to say which was the Championship and which the League Two side.Fair enough we put out a second string side,but you would have thought they'd never stepped out on a practice pitch together.
I cannot pretend I like the brand of footy we play under Mick at all. I'm not keen. It's not TOO bad when we have the likes of Fraser playing out wide, better last year at times despite being awful we battled were the underdogs and a bloody nightmare to play against. You always felt we were in a game, take Watford away where we ground out the 1-0 win. The scenes in the away end is up there with the best I've been at, I was buzzing for 24 hours after!
But take games like yesterday, we sign Feeney ready to go on loan, he should have been one wing Pringle's been playing well them two on a wing a piece and really taken a must win game to Rotherham.
However, for Mick to be classed as up there with the worst we've ever had is complete ****. Night and day better than the last three who threw £30 - £50 million down the toilet.
Should Royle have been backed sufficiently in 04-05 we'd have gone up, and I happen to think we may have again last season had we been properly backed in January. Crying shame.

Morning all! Well, that was a big disappointment, and I understand the frustration on here. So, my thoughts, tho I didnt drive up:
1. In the most important match for months, and knowing Rotherham's form, we should have played our strongest team from the whistle? Hyam, Skuse...nope, Pringle, Feeney et al.
2. We desparately needed wide boys on the pitch. Compare how we played back in the autumn, when I saw a pretty fluent attacking team with flair. Flair? What's that my arse!
3. MM admits mistakes. Simply confirms his managerial comfort level in Championship. Too many schoolboy errors, but good people manager.
4. Are we happy to stay in this league? Some clearly are, and we have performed amazingly well, if not pretty to watch, considering ME's woeful Business model and lack of investment. Let's see what the end of season brings before we knock on Micks door. Likeable man, nice bloke, def not the worst we have had......some have short memories of the agonies we went thru just 3 years ago! That said, I would prefer in an ideal world, a younger manager, given time to forge a fresh team. I would have a Dutchman too! Enough of the old English dinosaurs!
