I didn't come on here last night because I was so ****ing angry. Another game where we've thrown it away in the dying seconds. Still ****ing angry now as I write this.
If we're lucky we'll make the play offs, but the way this season goes we could really miss out completely.
I really thought we'd do them last night, but both teams were **** & scared to get in the box. It had 0-0 written all over it unless one mistake was made & we ****ing made it....AGAIN!
I'm not going down the "Bruce Out" route yet, but failure to get us promoted will cost him his job, there's no point ****ing him off now, when I wrote our season ends in 10,12 or 13 games the other day, I wasn't thinking the 10 games would be because we failed to even make the play offs, but now that's a real possibility.
We can't keep being the better team with more possession, more shots, more posts hit, that's not what gets you points.
I was disappointed with the line up last night, Aluko probably did more than Abel H but he's just not got the right pass on him, Clucas was invisible last night. Dropping Abel H should have replaced him with Diomande, I know, it's the old, player who doesn't play is better than the one that does, but Aluko isn't a striker, yes he has skill, but too easily knocked over.
We should have stuck 442 with Abel H & Diomande or Akpom up front. 2 out & out strikers, Middlesboro were there for the taking.
Maybe we set up to stop them & that's why they looked ****, but it also stopped us.
My faith is gone in going up, so SB will hopefully walk rather than be pushed if we don't, but if we do go up & are failing, then it should be until December so anyone new has a month to try out whatever they need to & then know what they need in January. I just hope Phelan can make a decent manager.

Still have a chance of auto's. I'm not throwing the towel in.
If we do go into the play offs then lets hope Ipswich and Cardiff get in them as well. We've beaten them both easily.

I'm resigned to it being another play off campaign now. In fact I was thinking this after the MK game.

I'm never totally pessimistic though and I'm just hoping we can get our **** together by the time the play offs come around.

It'll be warmer by then so Abel H might start putting chances away.

I just don't see us having enough to beat enough teams to get up!

Not given up but its looking more likely, like you say equal or better team but no points. We all know the striking options are poor I really hope we get someone in before next week but if so who? or will it be the old saying " I'm happy with what we have got" something as to change start scoring again and we have an outside chance but carry on out playing teams and ending up with a draw or defeat and even the play offs will be a struggle. The frustrating thing is in open play we have got the best side in the league I have not seen anyone out play us but its goals and points that count. Talk about spoiling my weekend even the dog sat in the opposite corner the room

It's not about temperature he's just not an athlete. Bruce said he rested him cos the stats show he wasn't running. Personally I thought that was obvious from watching him the last few games. Should have been dropped after Birmingham where he was really ****e.

Thing is, he's the only player we've got who can finish, so we rely on chances falling to him, but he's completely unreliable in terms of putting in the work that will get the team up the pitch or lose his man so that he can use his finishing. He's permanently bloody tired or recovering from international duty and the effect of that is him being even less effective than usual. He hasn't had a chance to score in about 6 games. That's not coincidence or poor service, it's a lack of effort.

My pre season prediction of between 5th and 8th is now looking pretty good.

Oh just trying to be as positive as I can. Just clutching at straws with Abel and the warmer weather. Afterall, he did get sixteen this winter.

But then those goals did show he has it in him. What went wrong?

He won us a penalty, so yes, for one of them.

Seriously though, what the **** is up with him? Remember that hat trick? I can't see him getting another.

And it's not just Hernandez. Elmo has been **** all season. Has he played well even once this season?

Diame? ****ing he'll, he was awesome, now he's ****.

Clucas looked a great signing and now? Yep he's **** too.

I could go on, but my question is, what's happened to turn our table topping tigers to ****?

And before you all tell me it's Steve Bruce, he was the manager of that team that topped the table.

I thought Diame and Hernandez looked pretty good last night. Especially playing together.

Elmo no ****ing idea, but shouldn't even be on the bench, I'd rather have had Alex come on than him.
Clucas is ****ing burnt out as far as I can see, should have been dropped or at the least subbed at half time. Diame can do magic at times, even last night, but getting that key pass, that's the problem.
Abel H, last night would have been perfect for him I think, too little too late, maybe the thought of him coming on with fresh legs, but by that time we weren't getting the ball in the areas Aluko had got into.

Really hoping the break freshens some of these guys up and we can try and end the season strongly.

Trying to look for the positives.

If Middlesbrough keep playing like they did last night then they'll struggle picking up points.

That leaves Brighton who look to have a tricky run in.

So all's we need to do is start scoring goals. How hard can that be.
