Well, here goes for another match day thread. News from Carrow road is that Bassong and Brady are both in contention for selection, but Redmond is out injured for 'a few weeks'. IMO, the defence has performed quite well whilst Seb has been out injured, so let's hope AN doesn't put him back in the starting 11 at the expense of Bennett. Here's hoping we can add at least 1 point to our meagre total today - 3 would be perfect!!!!
Apologies Dave, I had seen that, so in which case AN may not have the option of keeping the same back 4. Also, does he leave Olsson at the LB, so that Brady can operate in his more favoured position further upfield???
I think he may have to, with NR out, Jarvis will be needed on the right, please God not Hoolahan out left!
Nervous for today. Really really need a rare away day win. Going to be tough. Think it will be a battle today.
FML, ease your worries. I very rarely get any premonition/feeling for games but i am confidant that we will not lose today. But that could all be changed by the line up., I just hope that all the major players are fit and the team selection is the correct one.
Starting 11 Ruddy; Martin (c), Klose, Bassong, Olsson; Jarvis, Howson, O'Neil, Brady; Bamford; Mbokani. I'm really liking the attacking line up and IF we could just score first ............... Subs Rudd, Naismith, Jerome, Hoolahan, Pinto, Odjidja
Unfortunately Bennett is not fit enough to take part, which I believe is a major blow. But hopefully Klose can get Bassong to perform to the standard we all know he is capable of, in which case I am happy with this team. Bamford to break his Canary, and Premiership, duck.
Got to be 442 I suppose, unless Brady or Olsson can play RB, but the. I'd expect Pinto to be on. I suspect we'll try to nick an early goal then sit back and bring on Pinto for a counterattacking 541. Otherwise it might go horribly wrong with that lightweight midfield - let's hope Bamford can double as a midfielder well.
I have only just realised that both Naismith and Hoolahan are on the bench. I thought that one of them would be a certain starter.
Eh? Last ten mins we've been fantastic - O'Neil continuing his control from last game. Mbokani looking like twice the player he is usually. Brady has looked off the pace though. He and Ruddy
