Sat in the east stand tonight instead of the north and wow you know its bad from the north but once in there its terrible.

Moaning and groaning instantly about literally anything, no support for players or the team at all, so fickle aswell calling for bruce's head then once we scored chanting his name, not helped by a bad performance offcourse but it works both ways.

People leaving at 1-1 with 10 minutes remaining must look great from the pitch!

I think the support worsened a lot when they split the East Stand supporters, booing at the team is the worst possible support and literally does nothing to lift the players. How often do you see the players 'perk up' and run the extra yard when the fans get behind the team, I am afraid we are not helping the team at all just now!

The support worsened when they put the prices up despite relegation. Hence the 8,000 drop.

I agree, we didn't renew our passes this year although we still go to a lot of games on a match by match basis. We feel that the club don't value us anymore although this new membership scheme might change our minds once the details are released.

Hopefully the reduced prices of this new membership scheme will bring some old fans back and attract new ones. Sounds like a positive move from the club and a genuine attempt to make watching football more affordable.

Same here, season ticket holder for 20yrs until this season.
The club doesn't value you, don't you remember we were all branded irrelevant.
To be fair to the Allams, most clubs in the top two divisions would seem to prefer just taking the TV money and not having to open the gates to let the pesky fans in, would make life so much easier for such a small percentage of revenue.

Surely your membership ticket will carry a seat with it? My understanding is that it is just like having a season ticket but without the hassle of renewing every year

Crikey, never realised we could get into Premier League games with this too!!!! Might get one! Will we split the pitch half and half, Championship one end and the PL games tother?

It's bad enough watching your team struggle for support, as City are doing at the moment, but what makes it even worse is the relentless barracking which comes from a growing number of so-called 'supporters' during the course of the 90 minutes. One prick a couple of rows down from me was booing at half time as they went off, booing when they came back out for the second half, screeching abuse at Bruce throughout the game, and then booing at the end. The **** was so ****ing close to getting a slap across the back of his thick bonce that I'm giving serious consideration to not going for a while, because the poor performance of the team offends me less than the poor performance of many of our fans, and I'm not gonna be able to control myself for much longer around these twats.

    Honestly, they're a ****ing embarrassment.

Know the feeling. Some knobhead in block 20 near me was practically crying all the way through.

Don't like it? Go somewhere else.

Maybe they should try playing better then, poor little millionaires, I really feel for them having a few people who pay their wages boo them for an utterly ****e performance, how dare people vent their frustration at the players?

Not posted for quite some time but felt I should add some support, or more understanding, of fans at the moment. Whilst I cannot see any point in booing players, counter productive is one word that springs to mind, I do feel the fans have reason to feel frustrated.

At the end of last season our fans reaction to relegation was described as 'unique' by our manager and 'amazing' by an opposition manager. We have kept most of last year's squad so they know the loyalty of the majority of the fans.

For what it's worth I think the lads are trying their best. It's just their heads may have gone at home, or they are confused by some mystifying managerial instructions or selections.

Whatever. Things may work out well. Or they may get worse. I just believe all the club needs to understand each single other part of it to move forward

    There. Said it

Fans are different from club to club, our fans simply want to see a good performance in order to give good support... Some fans get behind the players no matter what. But it is how it is.. We want to see a good performance, passion and desire, when you see that the KC can be rocking... but too often do we see lesser teams playing us off the park and taking points from us.

So, our fans don't act like supporters of other clubs who support the team? Ours want a performance worthy of eliciting applause instead of giving encouragement to produce a performance?

An invitation to discuss it on the Queens car park seems to be in order, Polly.

Don't think anyone disagrees that everyone is frustrated, it's just that we seem to have some emotionally incontinent simpletons who can't reign themselves in, or who can't see the cause/effect of booing.

    The talent is not lacking.
    The experience is not lacking.

But maybe some character/desire is lacking in the squad?

2008 we had Ash, Barmby, Brown, Clement, Windass, Pedersen....players who would get stuck in and would not tolerate being given the run around by modest midtable teams.

You can't coach character into players.
