When Pearson left for Leicester only a very small number of fans on here were pleased. In fairness to Chazz he might have been one of them, but the now popular view that we were always ****e under him is miles from what the fanbase as a whole thought at the time.

The thing with Pearson was that he appeared to be openly hostile towards his own fans whilst he was here.

He then came out with that over the top comment about wanting to go back to 'where he was loved' when he left for Leicester.

That comment made him look a right ponce and was ( another) dig at City fans.

No wonder he's seen as a bit of a **** around these parts.

I also believe, for what it's worth, that the main/ only reason he hasn't returned to management is because Steve Walsh and Craig Shakespeare aren't available.

We should have a 'dislike' button for such drivel and pettiness.

That was when the first cracks appeared.
Petty disputes about mobile phones being taken off staff, then backroom staff being let go until in the end he wanted out.
Did I dream he not only signed Harper and Solano, but allowed Solano's buffoon of a brother to 'entertain' the fans before the game?

Pffft interim managers rule. I see your Mike Smith and raise you a Billy Russell.

You can't doubt the capabilities of a man who has a hat trick of interim appointments. All hail Billy.

By pettiness you mean correcting what is wrong?

He wasn't Solano's brother, he was just a mate of his and he was brilliant.

I was over the moon he went. Both him and his football were dire to watch. He did forge an excellent away run to set a record, just not an entertaining one.

I have to agree, his mate was great. Watching him wind up the Norwich fans before and after the game was brilliant. He provided a bit of fun which is sadly missing from football these days.

    How does that work then?

Ah, you appoint a Director of Football, none less than Harry Redknapp; someone who a couple of years ago was spouting that the Director of Football role was a joke!

    You couldn't make it up!

Mel Morris and Derby about to reap all they sow, which is bugger all!
