You can dress it up how you like. It was still more of a penalty than many given either against us or in favour of our competitors.

Once the penalties given without contact are eliminated from the game, and the penalties for fouls outside the box are eliminated from the game, and the officials final decide to apply the same offside rule both inside and outside Manchester, then you can start worrying about penalties where there was actual contact but you aren't sure how much contact to a professional footballer's ankle is needed to put them off.

Sorry, I didn't realise the justification was "worse than others" <ok>

A foul is something that physically stops you doing something, not "contact"

Yeah which is why I want all these **** forwards who boot the ball a mile away then dive into a defender to start getting yellows for fouls rather than free kicks from coward refs

Maybe when that happens I'll have some room in my heart for sympathy for a moron like Delaney who initiates an uncontrollable slide without thinking

Agreed and said similar earlier.

Now if there was any red tinted glasses wearing mo fo that was going to argue against his CORRECT point it was going to be you...<laugh>

Maybe no one, just presenting the alternative view that why was the penalty decision necessarily more important than Adebayor being able to stud Sakho's entire leg, or the many other interpretations of fouls we saw today
Your radio must have gone wonky at that point (bad picture), it wasn't Adebayor and is was a complete accident anyway :emoticon-0100-smile
