Indeed. Very sweet.

I've never ever rated him as a manager. Hes traded on on good period that newcastle. I don't rate his eye for a player nor his tactics... and especially his snide thuggish manner either.

"Abrasive" to some. To me? **** face.

The good period at Newcastle was strange. Carr (scout) got a lot of praise too but he's been lambasted since.

Good win for you guys that....He'll that penalty was a gift Mirallas had a card for that yesterday<laugh>

Not as much a gift as your one yeaterday. It was inside the box and benteke was fouled - you didn't see his knee contact Benteke's foot?

Pardews reaction to the penalty lol.

Admits there was contact, but says it was harsh that Lino can give tha let last minute... And that palace wouldn't have got that (ignoring all the free kicks they got given). Because t being last minute makes a difference as to whether it's a pen or not <laugh>

Couldn't happen to a nicer chap

In short: it was a penalty but you shouldn't have given it against us in the last seconds at home when it's just the word of the (correct) linesman.

Very lucky. Can't say I'm pleased with Benteke's dishonesty. But I'll happily take the 3 points <ok>

Is he supposed to stand up just because he can? Is he after some Boy Scout badge or something?

Firstly I didn't criticise Benteskey. Nor did I moan, I simply said it wasn't a penalty. However...

My understanding of a foul was another player physically preventing you from doing what you wanted to do. That didn't happen to Benteke.

Did he dive? No, he exaggerated contact.
Is it cheating? IMO yes!
Do other players do it? Yes!
Should our players do it if others are doing it? Absolutely!
Should all players be punished for such acts? Definitely but that's for FIFA, UEFA and the FA to sort.

Note that they didn't show Moreno hitting the post in the closing credits there.

They won at Spurs the other week in the cup.

They had a gash 30 minutes at West Brom, but with Bolaise back they're a different proposition

Under estimate them at your peril.......

I didn't do too badly mate!

Even if somewhat fortuitous.

Mike Parry, bitter blueshite and talksport presenter, claimed it was the worst act of simulation in the history of football, there was no contact and called for a life ban.

These people are like enraged and impotent Death Eaters now that Fergiemort has gone.

How can you punish someone if you have no idea whether there was enough contact to send them down?

Plus the rules actually don't actually say that there has to be contact:

A direct free kick is awarded to the opposing team if a player commits any of the following seven offences in a manner considered by the referee to be careless, reckless or using excessive force:

kicks or attempts to kick an opponent
trips or attempts to trip an opponent

So, when somebody falls and their knee brushes the heel of an opponent would you class that as....Careless, reckless or using excessive force?

Ah, there you are.Diego. Careless and reckless, and he didn't 'fall', he slid uncontrolled along the turf.
