......and after all that Everton / Martinez gloom & doom stuff on that other thread, if they win their next game, they're on equal points with Liverpool with a better GD. Arsenal & Spurs, with Man City losing, sure lost their opportunity tonight.
I thought he was decent enough for us in the PL last season. Not surprised he is getting game time for Swansea. I expected Charlie and Fer to be the first two sold after our relegation. He obviously didn't give a toss about playing in the Championship this season and has sulked his way to a loan move.
I would love it if Leicester can hold their nerve in the last ten games and get the title, it would give hope, albeit a slim one, that one day another championship club could follow their lead, and also girfuy to the established elite. But somehow at the back of my mind I feel that this is as good as it gets for Leicester, and they will end up in the top four but sadly miss out on the title. Opinions , eh?
If only they'd not conceded the late one v arse, and won on Tuesday. Even so, they've extended their lead this week. I want so much for them to do it, for what they represent, for the manner in which they turned themselves around exactly a year ago, to see the ecstasy which would be far beyond anything you witness when the usual suspects win, for the belief it could give others. It would be the greatest premier league title ever without exception. Come on Leicester, hold out, good luck lads.
I want Leicester to do it...because ...so far they are the only team who are really desperate and trying to win it...The chasers are all freezing .
Any other year, I'd be equally happy for spurs to win it, but not this season. Maybe next year for them, us the year after.
A lot to ask, but a top 4 of Leicester, Spurs, Arsenal & West Ham would be so good. New managers at City, United and Chelsea all find themselves in the Europa.
Bilic is doing a terrific job at West Ham, and if it wasn't for Kante and Mahrez Payet would be my player of the season.
I have always hated them, just slightly but very slightly, less than Norwich and Villa who I hope and trust go down this season. Not really sure why, but that such a nothing Club have gotten so lucky as to do as well as them, just makes the hate stonger.
