Oh dear what a shame.......just need Everton to beat them in the FA Cup and that's their season over........shame they're pretty much safe from relegation.
 
Ridiculous penalty awarded to Palace. Bolasie touched on the chest and throws himself to the ground. Mike Reid falls for it and sends the defender off. Even if it could be construed as a penalty, Bolasie should have been booked for simulation.

The Reading fans won't mind too much as most will be supporting Chelsea again next week.
Palace should have won that by half time but agree the Pen was soft. Mike Dean made some stupid decisions.

I wonder if Alain Depardew will condemn that decision as he did the one against him against Liverpool? Equally as soft and pathetic.

Mike Dean referee's the game as if it is now a non-contact sport. His decision making throughout the game was awful and if he's applying the laws of the game to the letter then the game of football as we now know it is ****ed.

This post could well of gone on the Stan Collymore's rant thread.

Just realised that I called him Mike Reid. Appropriate really.

I missed that, but you're right. He was the ref that gave a penalty to Chelsea when Sturridge swan dived in the box without any 'contact' in the FA Cup a few years ago, despite the ball being six feet over his head that he was never going to score from anyway.
