Just to brighten up your mornings, I've updated it again.
Please please please please can we beat Swansea!?

And still we remain well ahead of 2005 season, where we nearly managed to survive. That has cheered me up, actually.

And yet STILL ahead of 04/05. Mad.

Incredibly we won the last FOUR homes, starting with Manchester United. Two of the aways were at our relegation rivals. If City get the same points total, 13, then it could see us safe on 37 points. I can't see it somehow, but you never know.

Update after the Leics vs Toon match.

For the first time in a while, we've slightly closed the points gap to 2013/14:

No one was buying before the swansea game, but I have a soul, my left testicle and a green felt tip pen up for grabs Mr Beelzebub for victory against WBA!

Bah!

Looking (I suppose) a shade healthier. 8 points ahead of when we nearly stayed up in 2005!

But still a long way of 2011-13 levels...

Sorry, slacked off after the WBA game. Updated:

By slacked off do you mean celebrated a little vigorously and have finally sobered up enough to see your computer?

as Rob says, makes moderately better reading, but I'm hoping to see it again in 3 games time 9 points more and looking relatively rosey.

Bah!

To say that the next 3 games will probably define our season is something of an under statement. I see that the Magpies say that Rafa has a 'masterclass plan' for our downfall (don't you just love it when opposing teams say that sort of thing!). At last we've started turning 'performances' into points and hopefully that momentum will continue.
