Where would Stoke be in the league without Butland - From the BBC website "What a stop Jack Butland! Jonjo Shelvey flashes a cross in from the left wing, Seydou Doumbia flashes in a volley and Butland throws up a big hand to push it out." ??
Certainly the best keeper in this division - if not the entire universe at the moment. And yet Joe Harte still gets the nod internationally?
He certainly denied us at least 2 points and I've seen him make some fantastic saves on MotD!!! Now if he played for one of the top 6 ...................
Changing tack, I don't like the wording / slagging off of Cameron Jerome in this article, but I agree with the sentiments. Why sign Bamford only to ignore him? (And before anyone says AN sees him in training and we don't) we're in a right old backs-to-the-wall scenario now and need to utilise / try everything at our disposal to try and remedy that. Which includes young loan players. Or why else bring him here? http://readnorwich.com/2016/03/02/curious-case-patrick-bamford/?
Curious timing of an article complaining about Bamford not featuring when we've just played a game where Bamford was ineligible...
Fair point Rob but he's been here for over a month now...and had how many minutes of game time? Even when other first choice options don't appear to be working?
Am I the only one who's happy with the fact that all 3 of Leicester's chasers failed to make progress?
I never thought the Swans would be relegated anyway. Villa are gone, the rest is between us Newcastle and Sunderland!
Bit strange to assume that when all three are currently on identical points with very similar goal diff? Plus it's not like any of the three have had a recent spell of good results, either - a la Leicester last season?
Newcastle have the stronger squad with an inept manager. Sunderland have a crap squad with a very good manager. We have a crap squad with an inexperienced manager who doesn't seem to know what to change to fix things. Smart money is on Newcastle and Sunderland having a better chance of staying up. I'd put my money on Sunderland, but I have heard they have a very tough run of games coming up? Which might let Newcastle off the hook.
I think it will almost certainly boil down to the derby on 20 March. Newcastle's home form is good, but Sunderland have the Indian sign over them at the moment. And if Sunderland avoid defeat (an Allardyce speciality) then I think that will probably make the difference. If Newcastle win I think it's all over bar the shouting. Oddly, Newcastle and Sunderland are probably half hoping that we get at least a point at Swansea because in a way the closer Swansea are to relegation the better for them too.
Imagine if he was coming through at Norwich. This wouldn't even be a story! 3 games, 4 goals. Wouldn't be a chance in hell! Again, because he plays for one of the big teams.... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35722783
FML bor, what a prospect, 18yo and being considered for England. Nice to know some clubs have faith in youngsters. How you doing in your contract with BT ?
Tettey to miss the rest of the season, as he, himself predicted prior to the MRI scan on his ankle. Time to show us why you were brought to the club, Mulumbu http://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/...naismith_fit_for_swansea_city_test_1_4443213?
BVB vs Bayern on Saturday BVB are 5 points behind them (effectively 6 with goal difference). Borussia Dortmund geh voran, geh voran, Spiel den Gegner an die Wand, Borussia Dortmund du wirst Sieger sein, Borussia Dortmund du wirst Sieger sein!
