Nah Bogey was more than that, I love Cagney too but Bogart was always cool as ****, I loved his acting style. Neither Cagney not Edward G could have played Sam Spade. No one could have.
Absolutely. "Cape Fear" was like a comedy show at the end. I actually felt embarrassed watching it in the cinema.
Mitchum was ok, had his moments. He could hang dog a cigarette from his gub better than anybody. If only there was an Oscar for that.
I try to do a Mitchum, it's not as easy as he makes it look. The ciggie always falls out ma gub when I start speaking.
And yet you say Key Largo was a favourite of yours. Would it have been a better film if Edward G. Played Bogarts role as well? Bogart was excellent in Casablanca. He transformed what was supposed to be a B movie into one of the best films ever made.
12 Angry Men,one of me faves.Speaking of Edward G,just watched Trumbo and he featured heavily in it,very good filum
See in the UK, do they only have general admission cinema seating? Here they have Gold Class etc, where there's 20 of those La-Z-boy seats, you order your food before going in, and it is then delivered to your seat by a waiter, as you're snuggled under your blanket fervently rubbing your penis to whichever kids' film you're seeing. Reckon I'll never go GA again, too many scumbags from the public there, rustling their cheap bags of sweets or smuggling i ntheir own stinking homemade cheap sandwiches filled with horrible Aldi meat and Lidl dick cheese. I also shop at Waitrose, by the way.
